Voice-first: say "record", hear your feedback
Choose your coach voice – Robert or Sam – for spoken feedback. Voice commands are optional, and nothing listens until you tap the mic. Tap once to start a voice session, then say “record” before each shot – there’s no need to walk back to your device between swings. A listening indicator stays on screen whenever the mic is on. The session ends when you say “stop listening”, tap the mic again, lock your screen or leave the page, or after about 5 minutes without a recognised command. While a session is on, your browser’s speech service (Google on Chrome and Android, Apple on iPhone and Safari) processes the audio to pick out commands. Prefer buttons? Everything works without the mic.
On-device body tracking
DESHANK uses MediaPipe body-tracking technology that runs entirely on your phone or laptop. No video or body data is uploaded to us.
Four scored swing checks
- Tempo – the rhythm of your backswing and downswing.
- Head movement – how steady your head stays.
- Hip sway – how much your hips slide instead of turning.
- Posture change – whether you stand up or dip through the shot.
Each one is scored from 30 to 100, so you can see what to work on first.
Speed against your own average
See whether a swing was faster or slower than your usual, shown as a percentage of your own average. It’s a personal comparison, not a club-head or ball speed reading.
Turn estimates
Rough shoulder and hip turn estimates help you see the shape of your swing. We show them as guides and don’t score them, because a camera alone can’t measure them precisely.
Honest confidence flags
If the light is poor or you’re not fully in frame, DESHANK tells you the result is low confidence instead of pretending.
Player profiles and history
Set up profiles for you and your family on the same device, and watch scores change over time. Profiles and history are stored in your browser, and you can delete a player or clear history at any time.
Email reports
Send a swing report from your own email app – to yourself, your coach or a playing partner.
Works offline
